We're Jared & Pam Jolly — Pflugerville locals, married 30+ years, and the Austin area's first Pickleball Kingdom franchisees. When you book an event here, you're never handed off to a call center: Jared personally helps plan nearly every event (and is usually somewhere on a court), while Pam keeps the whole Kingdom running behind the scenes. Planner Questions, Answered
How many people can you host?
Groups from 10 to 150 across two buildings and 11 courts. Groups of 25–50 can rent our entire second building for a fully private event; larger groups can buy out the 20,000 sq ft main building. We cap buyouts at 150 so everyone's actually playing, not standing around.
What does an event cost?
Small-team events for 10–20 guests generally start at $250–300. Events for 20–40 guests typically run $400–800 depending on time of day and number of courts. Pricing for larger groups depends on courts, event length, staffing, food & beverage, meeting-room use, and whether you reserve a private building. You get a clear custom quote before you commit — no surprises.
What if some of our group doesn't play pickleball?
That's normal — most groups are 90% first-timers. Staff run a quick intro clinic, and the games lounge (the Full Swing golf simulator, ping pong, air hockey, foosball) keeps everyone in the fun.
Can we have food and alcoholic beverages at our event?
Yes. We arrange full-service catering, or you're welcome to bring any caterer you like. Beer, wine, and seltzers are available through our licensed (TABC) on-site beverage service — outside alcohol is not permitted. Ask about hosted-bar vs. guest-pay options when you get your quote.
How far in advance should we book?
2–4 weeks is comfortable for most events. December holiday dates book out earliest — if you're eyeing Q4, reach out now.
What does your staff actually handle?
Every event includes court setup, paddles and balls, and a 20-minute intro class on request. Add our event-hosting service and we run the whole thing: team assignments, round-robin or tournament formats, scorekeeping, music and announcements, awards, food & beverage coordination, and cleanup. You show up with your group — we handle the rest.
Are paddles and balls included?
Yes — all equipment is provided for your group. Guests are welcome to bring their own paddles if they prefer.
What should guests wear?
Athletic or casual clothing and comfortable court shoes. The facility is climate-controlled, so a light layer is a good idea.
Can we hold a meeting or presentation before playing?
Yes. The main building includes a private meeting room with seating, tables, and a 75-inch screen — ideal for a meeting, training session, or awards program before or after court time.
Can we add the golf simulator to our event?
Yes — the Full Swing golf simulator (operated by Austin Indoor Golf, located inside the main building) can be reserved as an add-on with many private events, subject to availability. It's perfect for closest-to-the-pin contests and guests who'd rather swing a club than a paddle.
Can we play our own music or decorate?
Private-building events can generally use their own music and approved decorations. Just walk us through your plans in advance — anything that could damage courts or equipment may be restricted.
Do you host fundraisers and charity tournaments?
Yes — nonprofit, church, school, and charity events are some of our favorites. We help plan court rotations, tournament brackets, spectator areas, sponsor recognition, and awards.
Is a deposit required? What if plans change?
A deposit may be required to hold your date — the amount, payment schedule, and cancellation/rescheduling terms are spelled out clearly in your written quote and event agreement. Small headcount changes are usually easy; big ones may affect courts, staffing, and price, so tell us early.
Is parking available, and is the facility accessible?
Free on-site parking with room for large groups. Courts, restrooms, entrances, and main event areas have ground-level access (the games lounge is on an upstairs mezzanine). Tell us about any mobility or accessibility needs when requesting your quote and we'll recommend the best building and setup.
